They live miles away though so all I have is drawings of their hands to go by so I was wondering how old Maia is so that I can use your pattern as a guide for size also. I will also be making some of these for my dd who, altho she is 44, loves owls and would like these. I have been looking for unusual things to make for animal charity tombolas I run with my sister. These will be absolutely perfect for next autumn.

Even smaller amount of white yarn for the eyes. Eyes: Make a magic circle and chain 2, hdc into the circle 7 times, pull tight and join with a slip stitch to finish. Thanks for linking up! Xxx Like Like. What do think about these…? Oh I love these! I know a little girl who is owl mad. You have given me a great idea. Super Cute, making some for my niece how did you make the beak? You can see the Small size modeled below on my 15 year old, and those are my hands in the Large! Add this pattern to your Ravelry Queue and Favorites! NOTE: The two sizes are the same pattern — the only difference is that the Small is made with the smaller hook, and the Large is made with the larger hook.
Be sure to check gauge and use the hook size that gets you closest to the gauge needed for the size of mitts you want to make. Note that the only difference between right and left mitts is in Round I know that boot cuffs have been requested as well, and I hope to add those to the collection soon.
